 I liked Kids County Calendar because the camera was zoomed in and out and different camera angles were used. This made it really interesting.The scenery was quite good and Our Place was well represented. The sound and voices were not very clear so that is something to work on for next time.

The story of Dragonflies

 Dragonflies are living insect. They are invertebrates which mean dragonflies have no backbone. Dragonflies are solitary, which means they don’t have a family.They live for six months.

 Habitat
 Dragonflies can live all over the world and you can see them in your backyard. Dragonflies like to live in warm climates and near the water so they can lay their eggs.

 Features
 Most dragonflies lay their eggs in water. Dragonflies have the longest body and they have transparent wings. They have a thorax, a head and an abdomen. Dragonflies can’t walk very well and they are really good at flying. Dragonflies come in a variety of colours including blue, green, yellow and red . Dragonflies are the most colourful insect on the planet. They also come in a range of sizes from half an inch long to over 5 inches long.

 Food and sleep
 The dragonfly is a carnivore because they eat cicadas, flies and even smaller dragonflies. Speed Some dragonflies can zip along at well over 20 miles per hour.

Predators
 Dragonflies predators are arthropods, reptiles, fish, such as bass, tiny mammals, water shrews, frogs and fellow insects.

We are learning to mask images to give OOMPH

We had to find a picture to put in to a google drawing. Then we went into the mask image tool  so we can chose a shape for our picture. I found out that it was hard to find a picture, I used the explore tool.
I then used the line and colour tool to put a boarder around my pictures. I think they look great and I will use this when I next make a google drawing.

ScreenCastify to Blog

Today we made a ScreenCastify of our best work to share on our blog. I choose this ScreenCastify because I liked the writing, it's different.  I like the amazing photos and I want people to see the photos that I have put up on the slide.

 Hi I am Bella the ladybug .I live in a bush all alone because all of my family has been Squished by big giant human. It was very sad to watch. So I decided to leave my destroyed village. On my adventure I saw a bunch of humans having lunch together. One of the humans came over to the bush where I was but he did not see me. That was good ! Then I went to get some food and it was very good. After that I met another ladybug and her name was Georgia. She was very nice so we became friends. After that we were at the forest. We came across a sleeping tiger so we had to be very quiet. Next we were at home. So I said that was a good adventure to Georgia. So Georgia said yeah it was. But this human came along and tried to squish us down but he didn’t get us so that was good but it was Scary . The end

Respect Poster

WALT use the word art tool to make a poster about RESPECT. Then we will blog about the process.

We had to use border weight and border dash.We had to use Word Art and the fill in colour.  We had to choose some words to go in the be respectful poster. We could use voice typing if we didn't know a word. It was a bit hard at the start when I started.

W.A.L.T create our own images using google drawing.
We took a self portrait photo of ourselves. We learnt to use the polyline tool, we found it in the line on the tab. After we finished we deleted our photo then we added in a colourful background.

Easter at my Nana's

Easter at my Nan’s
During the school holidays my family and I went to my Nan’s to do a Easter hunt . In the morning we had to wait for my cousins until they got there, then we could do the Easter hunt.We got six eggs each. Me and my sister decorated the basket and it was lots of fun making them.
Firstly we looked in where you walk in the door and we found one choc bunny and 5 choc eggs. I ate one of my choc eggs. Jack ate two of his choc eggs. My sister Emma ate all of her Easter bunny. Georgia ate one of her Easter eggs.
Then me,Georgia and Jack played ‘find each others Easter eggs’. Georgia hid mine and Jack’s eggs. I found four eggs and one bunny. Jack had trouble finding his eggs in the house.
Then we played the game for awhile. Then they had to go and I went to bed.
In the morning I got dressed  and went to the Inangahua shop Me, Jack and Georgia were there. Jack and Georgia were colouring in a dinosaur piece of paper. While I  was helping Nan making  some sandwiches in the kitchen.
